We came up with a list of parts very close to final design. Or at least that’s what we think by now. So here is a link to out very-close-to-final list of parts. The total project cost went up to $15,800 because we added more parts to it and the cost of tools and paint and body work.
This list should be a pretty close shopping list for anybody who wants to do a conversion like ours. You may need to find suppliers in your area for some of the parts, but most of the are available worldwide.
If you want to donate any particular part, just sens us an email. Unless you have one of the parts laying around…. then we’ll just pick it up! Thanks for your contributions and support!

Back to Nico’s to remove the gas tank, fuel lines, exhaust system and all other little things we don’t need anymore. We knocked this out pretty fast.
Our friend, Aimee, who is going to make a documentary out of this whole process, was there to film the whole operation.
We called John, from Sunshine Mobile Auto Care, to come clean the car and clean the engine bay, but he was super late, so we left cleaning for the next time. Also, check out the “Little Havana 6-pack”

ElectroAuto called back! They apologized for the delay and were super cool. GOOD NEWS: they have adaptor in stock!!!! They only have to make a motor ring for the 9′ motor, but they can make it overnight! How cool is this? We bought it. It should be here next week!

We found a new site that has the adaptors, it is KTA Services. They can make it but it takes 6 weeks! We’ll think about it!
Ok, we called KTA to place the order and got no response or call back! What’s up with these suppliers?!
